Desktop App End User License Agreement

Effective 2026-04-27.

Parties and scope

This End User License Agreement (the "Agreement") is between you and Tramplo ("Tramplo", "we", "us"). It governs your installation and use of the Tramplo desktop application (the "Software") on a Windows or macOS device. The web service is governed by the separate Terms of Service.

Installing or running the Software means you accept this Agreement. If you do not accept, do not install the Software.

License grant

Tramplo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the Software for the sole purpose of participating in the Tramplo service through an organization that has invited you.

What the Software does

During an active shift, the Software captures screenshots, idle status, and (if your employer has enabled them) per-minute counts of keyboard / mouse activity and the name of the foreground application. The Software is paused when you are idle and is fully stopped when no shift is active. Full details are in the Tramplo employee monitoring notice at /legal/privacy/employees.

What you must not do

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Modify, redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Software.
  • Remove copyright or trademark notices.
  • Use the Software to monitor any device on which you are not the legitimate user or on which your employer has not given you a clear notice of monitoring.
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with the system-tray indicator, the consent screen, or the local idle detector.

Permissions the Software requires

To function, the Software requests the following operating-system permissions. All are visible to you and revocable through OS settings:

  • Screen recording on macOS / equivalent on Windows, used to take screenshots when a shift is active.
  • Input event monitoring at the OS level, used only to count keystrokes and mouse activity. The Software does not record keystroke content.
  • Foreground-window access, used to read the name of the focused application when the apps module is enabled.

Data and privacy

Captured data is uploaded to your employer's Tramplo workspace under the Terms of Service and the Data Processing Agreement, and governed by the Tramplo employee monitoring notice. The Software does not collect telemetry or analytics about you beyond what those documents describe.

Updates

The Software may check for updates and prompt you to install them. We deliver updates to keep the Software secure and functional; major behaviour changes will re-prompt you for monitoring consent in the web app before your next shift can start.

Open-source components

The Software includes open-source components (notably the Tauri runtime, Rust crates, and JavaScript libraries) used under their respective licenses. A list of components and licenses is included in the installer (or available on request).

Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tramplo disclaims all such warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tramplo's total liability arising out of or related to this Agreement is limited to the amount paid by your employer for the Tramplo service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Tramplo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Termination

This license terminates automatically when your employer's Tramplo subscription ends, when you are deactivated by your employer, or when you uninstall the Software.

Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tramplo is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply where they cannot be excluded by contract.
